Are photos I took @ my disgression to use?[ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ Copyright Forum ] [ FAQ ] Posted by Lewis Rutledge on July 13, 2000 at 22:54:44: Hello, I'm a photographer (student) in the San Diego, CA area. I took some pictures of my friend, I developed them (paid for them ) and then created a web site with the pictures I took over a year ago. Today one of the models I used calls me and says that she gave no "written consent" about the pictures being on the web site and that I need to remove the images within 24hrs or she "can" take legal action. Is this true? Did I break and law. The web site in question is www.nuclear.iwarp.com. It's basically my on-line portfolio just in case I every wanted to show a potential employer my work without a actual "portfolio" to show. Thank you very much and any help you can offer will be greatly appericated. Lewis Rutledge, Jr.
