I recently purchased 10 photos from a person off of an online auction (guess which one...). He was (as far as I know) the original photographer. Upon receiving the photos, I scanned them and posted them at my web site. This person is now contacting me, suggesting I have infringed on his copyright. Before this, there was no mention of these images being copyrighted, nor is there any copyright information on the images I possess. Do I need to remove these images from my web site?
