: Dear Sirs: Dear David and Marilyn, Although I keep a second office in Lewiston, most of my work comes out of New York. I have good feelings about Maine. From what you say you are on a cutting edge and should be careful. There might be copyright infringement. Innocent infringement is not excused, though the punitive aspect of the copyright law is often limited legitimately as a court may do. For instance there may be no charge for the winning party's attorneys fees and statutory damages may be limited. There may be bigger problems with willful infringement or actual damages. M.
