Hello;
First, I'd like to thank Mr. Auslander for the time he spends answering questions here and for his expertise..

Anyway, I was trying to figure out what the Russian laws are for copyrights on books published prior to 1991. The reason I ask about such a late date is because Russia only joined the International agreement of 1975 (not sure about the date.. sometime around there) in 1992. i have read the 1993 and 1995 Russian copyright laws and I understand the current situation; what I am not clear on is whether the new laws alter the situation with old books.
