For years I have taken information, and modified it from a 1953 Science Laboratory Exercise Manual and utilized parts of it for teaching. Another company has bought out the Publisher, and to the best of my knowledge no one has re-printed the last edition. Also the authors are deceased. I would like to use some modified sections from this manual and publish my own set of Laboratory experiments and activities. My I assume the copyright laws have expired on this manual and proceed, or should I seek assistance elsewhere?
