copywright inquiry regarding art print resell

I am curious as to what laws apply,if any, to me. I am a florist who would like to add art prints to my catalog. Can I buy these from any wholesaler of prints, and resell them? Or do I have to have pemission from every artist before selling their prints? Surely not.
