Please, somebody help!
I've always thought that short phrases could not be
coyrighted in the U.S. (It says this in circular 34
and when I called the copyright office they confirmed
this). But recently I've seen that people such as
comedians Paul Rosa and Ashleigh Brilliant have
copyrighted short bumper-sticker phrases.
This is important for some research I'm doing.
Does anyone know anything about this?
If so please contact me at richlev@wam.umd.edu
Thank you,
