: : I need to copywright a book that I wrote so that I can continue work towards self publishing.

: My book is instructional on learning to swim. It is called "Swim for Your Life". It is ready to go to the printer and I will sell it from my home to start with and over the internet, when I can do a web page. All information you can give me will be Greatly Appreciated.

: I also need to know where and how to get a Library of Congress Number and anything else I might need to get for this book.

: Thank you so much for all your help.

: Sincerely

: Shawn
Click on the Copyright Page of this Forum and you can find The Copyright Office. There is usually no reason to register a Copyright until after the work is published. The Copyright Office is very helpful. Doing it yourself or even what you can learn from the Copyright Office does not give the understanding and insight that a Copyright Lawyer can give. At this point you don't seem to have any problems.
