Have the courts made *any* distinction regarding public or for-profit re-use of sole-source information? Is this a copyright or anti-trust issue? In other words, has any sole-source Internet company or non-profit had claims of copyright violations rejected based on anti-trust codes, or is this not possible? : : I've been searching for days for this information, and all I've got so far is an HR passed in March that hasn't been advanced by the Senate. It addresses the sole-source issue in very vague language, and it seems as though this legislation would leave the sole-source issue essentially in the hands of common law rulings.
